Oh My Gosh , This has got to be the best wedding video ever made! Im so thankful I’m allowed to share this with everyone. Jenn and Wes were awesome to work with. This is what happens when you have the perfect storm for a wedding videographer. This was a full day of shooting followed with a day after shoot and mixed with 8mm film. Simply Beautiful! Their back story goes like this…
When Jenn Brown and Wes Chatham exchanged vows on April 7, 2012 at 5 o’clock in the evening, there was more than glamour in the air. Surrounded by family and friends in the historic surroundings of romantic Barnsley Gardens Resort, the two stood beneath an arbor of flowers and promised to love one another forever.
Jenn Brown, a broadcaster for ESPN, was engaged to her husband, actor Wes Chatham, at a Journey concert in Chicago. Chatham dropped to one knee and popped the question as the band began playing the song Faithfully. A very surprised Jenn said yes, sparking an adventure bound for a wedding ceremony steeped in vintage Hollywood glamour.
With family and nearly 200 guests looking on, Wes and the bridal party welcomed Jenn at the altar, where the two recited original vows.
A formal reception followed at the ruins at Barnsley Gardens where music by Party Nation, flowers by Edge Design, and cuisine by Barnsley Gardens treated guests to a celebration to remember. Raw Photo Design photographed the event. Jenn and Wes danced their first dance as husband and wife to Wonderful Tonight, by Eric Clapton, while their guests sat amid the elegant ambiance of décor reminiscent of Tinsel Town’s golden years.
The night saw the newlyweds toasted upon their introduction as husband and wife, followed by a surprise-choreographed dance from the motion picture Dirty Dancing to the song, The Time of My Life. The couple pulled it off without a hitch, lift and all.
And after the cake had been cut, and toasts spoken in earnest, after hours of dancing and enough memories made to last a lifetime, it was time to say goodnight. Following a special 80s presentation by Party Nation, the couple made their get-away to the waving of sparklers and the cheering of family and friends.
