I was lucky enough to be one of the 80 artists involved in Gromit Unleashed, a huge art trail around the City of Bristol, featuring 80 5-foot tall blank Gromit statues, customised by a whole host of artists from all over the world, organised by Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal, which is a charity focused on the Bristol Childrens Hospital.
I was honoured that my Gromit was chosen by Aardman themselves (which also happens to be my place of work) to live outside the HQ building, right here in Bristol, for the 10 weeks that the trail was on!
Because this is the biggest and most exciting project I've ever been involved with, I wanted to capture absolutely every part of the process, so armed with my trusty GoPro, I recorded just about every part of the process. This here is the film of all that footage, stuck together in some sort of order!
I hope you enjoy, it's been the biggest honour working on Gromit and putting the edit together made me feel so proud to have been involved, a huge thank you to the Gromit Unleashed team and all of Aardman for letting me be a part of the fun!
The trail of all 80 gromits is happening from 1st July - 8th September 2013, and then they're all auctioned off for charity!
