This small video clip has such a story to it that explains how and by what chance I got these particular video clips. However it’s important to say the theme for this film is nature which is what’s all around us. For example the first clip shows a depiction of the beach, this was filmed by design when I came down to the beach. My family and I went down for our evening walk together, even when I went down to the beach I had a clear image in my mind as to what I intended to film, one which was the beach from a high point. I originally filmed two videos of the beach, the one you see in my video also I originally had a panning shot of the beach, however I preferred the film centred on one are because it was best to show the most interesting and speculating feature of the beach rather than the entire beach quickly in one motion. In the second clip of my 5x5 film we see a depiction of a sea slug, however this was only by chance that I filmed this. It started when I was walking down Lennox Beach until I reached the end and looked into the water to find fish to film. Then when I saw an orange blob in the water and moved closer and I only later realised that it was a sea slug moving through the water. So I saw the opportunity to film it and seized it , at the start I filmed many clips of this creature through long shots, mid shots and close up’s, however in the end I settled for the mid shot because my intentions were to capture the sea slugs natural qualities while capturing its continuous movement through the water. For my third clip in my 5x5 movie we see moving forest scene, so there I was on Tuesday afternoon when my Dad was driving me to the Southern Cross basketball stadium for Tuesday night competition games. My original plans for my 5x5 movie were to have a forest scene, which I had already taken on a trip back from my martial arts class in Byron Bay via my smart phone. However since I filmed with my smartphone right side up the video turned out sideways. So when I saw a forest landscape with hardly any signs of human intervention I grabbed out my smart phone and filmed the forest landscape while travelling in the car. For my fourth 5x5 clip we have a depiction of what appears to be a Blue Blubber Jellyfish, I got this video out of plain curiosity. After my videoing further up the beach I intended to film Lake Ainsworth, so my family and I continued to walk along the beach while I hoped to stumble upon something to film. Then I did, I fare distance ahead I saw a blue blob so I ran ahead to investigate and found a Blue Blubber Jellyfish. However the tide was coming in so there was no time to set up the tripod and place the camera on top so I acted quickly and just pulled out the camera and filmed. When suddenly without notice a gush of water poured in and washed the Blue Blubber Jellyfish away, but I found that the unexpected flood fitted with the film because it created a sense of Unexpectedness, so I kept the film in the end because of this reason in that it had an unexpected twist. My final video clip for my 5x5 movie was the short image of the moon, on the same afternoon that I took the forest landscape film. On the way out form the stadium my farther pointed out the certain depiction and I to share the fascination of the moons particular appearance and as such I saw an opportunity and tried to film the moon on my smart phone however the phone didn’t have the proper settings or design to capture the moons lighting and the phone wasn’t able to focus enough on the moon to capture the moon's image. So my plan was to go home and grab my camera and film from the top of my drive way, however when I got home I couldn’t find every component of the tripod so I spent a long time searching, and I eventually found the rest of the components and went up the drive way to film. During filming I took many clips from all shots mid shots, long shots and wide shots but after much deliberation I eventually settled for a long shot of the moon for the intention of capturing the moons detail and beauty. However I had four other videos that I took on my family walk on the beach like a seagull on a rock, a trench, a rock and a glob of foam which was only discovered by chance however there was no time to set up but to just pull out the camera and film. Also I did have a small video of a Turkey at Lake Ainsworth, however the Turkey was continuously moving through the bushes so I had to chase it around with the camera. Also the major intervention I had in this 5x5 film was the entire creation and formation of the film.
