Houdini - Go Procedural

Reel Breakdown

01. "Once Upon A Time" Season 2 Episode 19 (ABC): Responsible for matchmove, dynamics, rendering.
I matchmoved a geo to the moving hand, emitted particles from that geo, then emitted fluids from those particles. I used Phoenix FD for fluids and rendered in V-Ray
Software: Maya, Phoenix FD, V-Ray.

02. Zoic Studios Intern Project: Responsible for CG production, pipeline supervision, character FX, FX, rendering.
I was responsible for the many tasks listed above.
Software: Maya, RealFlow, V-Ray.

03. Cracking Wall: Responsible for all aspects except HDR image.
Crack system driven by curves and attributes.
Software: Houdini.

04. Typewriter's Cafe: Responsible for dynamics, rendering.
I was responsible for several kinds of dynamics such as cloth, liquids, and fluids.
Software: Maya, RealFlow.

05. Burning Arm: Responsible for matchmove, dynamics, rendering.
I matchmoved the plate in Maya, added a particle simulation and emitted Phoenix Fluid from the particles. Rendered in V-Ray.
Software: Maya, Phoenix FD, V-Ray.

06. OBJ Level Merge OTL: Responsible for all aspects.
This OTL written in Python allows you to merge nodes and OTLs and transform them at the object level. You can also exclude types of nodes and single nodes.
Software: Houdini, Python.

07. Kill Chunk OTL: Responsible for all aspects.
This OTL allows you to destroy any parts of a pre-fractured geometry with the use of any other geometry.
Software: Houdini.

08. Sticky Crate Tool: Responsible for all aspects.
This tool written in Python allows you to project any numbers of geo onto a surface geometry. In this case we use a customized OTL that creates a crate and projects it onto a noised up grid.
Software: Houdini, Python.

09. Traditional Art: Art works done in pencil, pen, marker, brush, pastel, charcoal.
