A single slow motion shot of a baby's face.
Babies are like astronauts. They wear astronaut sleep suits, with short legs and oversized heads like space helmets. They travel from zero-gravity hyper sleep and emerge into an alien culture. Their clear, glassy eyes look like the reflective visors of space helmets. Their eyes look like earth from the moon. They can sometimes invoke a sense of awe.
I like to imagine my daughter as a young adult looking back into her own eyes.
Two minutes.
(This was my first test of Magic Lantern's focus assist, which was operated using blind faith. It worked great. I love ML! And rely on it always. It's the better part of the camera.)
