The first BASE Jump in Malaysia was Sunday, 3rd October 1999 at Menara Kuala Lumpur. The event was one of the highlights of Menara Kuala Lumpur’s 3rd Anniversary celebrations. This event is listed in the Malaysia Book of Records as the first Malaysian BASE Jump. Participants were Capt. Abdul Rahmat Omar, Lt. Aziz Ahmad and Martin Dumas, a Canadian.
