How do the greats achieve mastery?
We have to put in up to 20.000hours
No doubt about that!
For his book Mastery, Robert Greene, researched many great masters.
From Da Vinci to Napoleon and Steve Jobs.
So how can we become a master? :)
First we need to find our UNIQUE career path.
What sparks our deepest curiosities?
Here, we will find who we are.
Then start an Apprenticeship
A mentor gives an effective and productive relationship
To be socially competent and have the necessary skills for our work.
We now face a choice.
Stay or leave our mentor's shadow?
The greats continue on their unique paths.
Unknown, it can be difficult at times.
By knowing our environment from the inside-out,
While keeping a focused and fluid mind at once.
We will be better off.
If we are in the state of mind
A mix of child openness and adult knowledge
Creative Powers and Mastery can now come to us.
But how can we achieve this?!
Our apprenticeship has given us great knowledge.
Exploring it and associating different dimensions of our work
Our creativity will expand!
BE BOLD & Experiment
Think like an outsider
Have 2 opposing ideas at the same time
Keep all possibilities before choosing 1
Look at the whole & not the goal.
The music industry is collapsing and the digital revolutions is at full speed.
Musicians can experiment all they want.
Come up with bold and creative ways to express themselves
Make a living
And change the world!
