The nicest time of the year to visit the region "Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur" in South France is most likely end of May / June when the lavender fields blossom and the whole region seems to shine resplendent in purple. It was always a dream of mine to go there during this period and capture these amazing pictures you can see on so many posters.
Well, if the trip is your Babymoon and the baby is suppose to come the last week of May -- then end of May / June isn't really an option, is it? :)
So my wife and I hit the road down to South France in the last days of March 2013 and as you can see even during this time it's beautiful and definitely a journey worth!
Anyway, pictures speak louder than words, so I stop here and you can just press "play": Join us on our trip and enjoy the clip!
PS: I usually don't drink wine like this. But when I was a young boy, I use to observe my father tasting wine and he always made these funny faces trying to "extract" the complete flavor of the "sample". So what you can see in this clip is actually me trying to imitate my father ... :)
