Hello everybody !!!
I am very happy :-). I just found this raw video footage on one of my old back up DVDs.
I was staying in Pondicherry, South India, for a couple of months in 2006. One day, when I was at the French Institute, there were these two ladies making a beautiful Kollam for a function (for those of you intrigued about what Kollams are about, check out my video "Creating Beauty. The Art of Kollam").
I had my photo camera with me and I could not resist filming :-). The only thing was that I only had something like one minute of memory for recording video on my photo camera (times have changed since !!!). So I always had to film for a minute, then transfer the footage to my Labtop Computer (which was also quite slow ...), and then go back filming :-).
It was a nice filming experience that taught me one great lesson: don't be greedy when you film !!! You don't have to have "everything" on tape !!!
I hope you will enjoy this little video of a manifestation of beauty right in front of your eyes :-) !!!
Plenty of good and beautiful inspirations to all of you !!!
PS: The song is Pravin Godkhindi's "Parvathi".
