A small animation project inspired by the talented and very gracious Nick Campbell from greyscalegorilla.com (which was inspired by a beautiful animation project by Vimeo user Ion).

I'm not a 3d or motion graphics creative, but I've worked with lot's of them and have a newfound respect for the creative and technical challenges that go into making what's become a ubiquitous part of visual culture. What I thought I could knock out in a day has taken several, and it's not even close to being where I'd like it.
