So I finally got to a meet up...in Chicago. This may not seem that unusual other than the fact I'm a Brit living in Belgium!
It was really great to meet with so many other DSLR enthusiasts. I particularly enjoyed meeting:
Philip Bloom teased us all with Eric Kessler's signature series pocket dolly which drew a lot of attention and I have to say looks like a fine piece of equipment, it is so smooth, portable and light.
I'm a little late with this edit as I didn't return to Europe until yesterday (25.10.10) and so it took me a while to get it done and posted on Vimeo.
Everything was done on a 7d, with a 50mm f1.8 Nikor lens. Even with a 1.8 the light became an issue so some shots are a little grainy due to the higher than normal iso I was using. Still overall I'm happy with the look I got.
I'd like to acknowledge Kim St. Aubin at Posthouse Pictures for setting up the whole event.
