The third episode of Arcadian Vanguard Entertainment's New York Sessions features one of the great live bands in New York, The Brooklyn What. As the band prepares for the December release of their "Hot Wine" album, they play four songs of the upcoming record - Catastrophe Kids, The Basement, Late Night Traveler and Hot Wine. Also performed in this episode is She Gives Me Spasms, off their first album, and one of their newer songs, Sledgehammer Night. In between the songs, Jamie, Jesse, Evan, John and Doug talk about how they came together, why they are "basement rock" and what a sledgehammer would do to the MTA. They also share memories of their bandmate, the late Billy Cohen, who wrote Late Night Traveler and Hot Wine and was the driving force in bringing them together as a real band.
