Centre for Media
The Centre for Media includes the disciplines Film/Time-based- media, represented by Prof. Stephen Sachs and digital and interactive media with Prof. Tom Duscher. Both disciplines work with audiovisual elements and the linking of sound, image and interactivity opens up numerous opportunities to develop new forms of narrative and presentation.
In this sense, the Centre for Media may also be understood as an exploratory and experimental institution that participates in the interpretation and development of time-based and interactive media while working closely with the arts, design and spatial strategies.
What is new is that in the two study areas of the center a master's program may be supervised and completed. Further information can be obtained directly from Professor Duscher (td at muthesius.de) and Professor Sachs (sachs at muthesius.de).
