I was flying at about 150 feet and lost total control. The quad spun all the way to the ground. Music by Scott from GreatScottMusic.com - "Slow Funk" -- Royalty-Free Music.

The MultiWiiCopter is a multicopter based on a Wii Motion Plus extension and an Arduino pro mini board.
The initial purpose was to design something very simple, cheap, minimalist, with an open source code.
There are now options to use other sensors, non Wii based.
It should be compatible with any receiver (4 channels mini, even those with a single PPM sum signal), every standard servo and most standard ESCs.

The integration of Wii nunchuk or another I2C ACC allows an auto stable mode but is not mandatory to fly the model.

For a more acro piloting oriented flight, the help of accelerometers is not really useful.

There is a GUI where you can visualize and configure several indicators and parameters.
It's also possible to fly parameters directly on a small 2x16 LCD display.
