Wi-Fi Sculpture
cluttAR describes an engagement with the issue of digital waste and forces considerations for a concept formation of an digital economy.
For this purpose, a Wi-Fi sculpture was created which is able to visualize seemingly functionless data which occurs as a side-effekt in the everyday use of technology-based communication.
Data packets are tracked through the use of a modified WiFi router and are visualized using an augmented reality marker and an optical sensor.
The result is presented as visual evidence in form of an ever-growing mountain of garbage surrounding us permanently in the age of digital multi-communication.
