I am very proud to present to you the results of the workshop "Opposites in Time", which i held at the Estonian Academy of Arts last week. The assignment was to make a movie, max. 40 seconds featuring one pair of opposites. In other words it is all about arranging two extreme positions on a timeline and trying to figure out how to go from one position to the other. That sounds pretty simple at first sight but on second sight the subject involves basic principles of filmmaking and basic principles of graphic design at the same time, not to mention the highly philosophical backround concerning the subject of opposites. I am very proud that so many students managed to go pretty deep into the subject considering the really short amount of time they had. I really enjoyed the wonderful time i had in this lovely city of Tallinn.
