A little video showing a continuum of fractal (-like?) sets from the burning ship fractal to the mandelbrot set. A bit dull in the middle, but there you go.
The idea was to replace the absolute value expressions in the burning fractal with the function: a(k,x) = x if x≥0, a(k,x) = kx, if x≤0. Then a(1,x)=x gives the Mandelbrot set, and a(-1,x) gives the Burning Ship fractal. Why not make a video showing the continuum with k running from -1 to 1?
