In July / August I visited my home country Sweden. During my visit there I filmed the beautiful nature around the area where I grew up.
Värmland is a province in Sweden that is rich with lakes, ponds, streams and famous for it's many large pine forests. The footage in this video is from the parish of Bjurtjärn in Storfors municipality, Värmland. Bjurtärn is situated between Oslo and Stockholm. It used to be rich farming district, however, nowadays there are only a few dairy farmers who are still active. There are plenty of opportunities in Bjurtjärn to get a glimpse of how people used to live and work in the past. It is a place in Sweden well worth visiting.
