Here is project two for Animation class created by Kris and I. We took several elements from online resources such as pictures available on flickr (masked and edited in photoshop), ship schematics from shipschematics.com, dradis radar video from aestuff.myleniumstuff.de/?tag=dradis, and explosion particles from videocopilot.net.

These elements were composited them together with our own effects in Adobe After Effects. In addition to the techniques we learned in class, we utilized the wiggler, glow, 3d layer, light sources, motion blur, masking to composite multiple layers such as the dradis radar, and particles for the illusion of moving starfighters. After rendering the after effects files, they were edited together with sound effects and music in Sony Vegas.
