This is not my first video and it’s not going to be my last. But I have the strong feeling that it stays on my mind as the most "difficult cut" of all times.
We had a wonderful 2013 with the "arrival" of our daughter in the summer time. And like so many new, proud fathers I could hardly put away my camera not to miss capturing a single of those "magic moments".
The months passed by and suddenly 2013 was over. When the idea came up to produce a short film of our first time together as a family, I saw myself confronted with "tons" of clips, many hundreds of minutes of material ... (and while going through them I thought to myself that I surely will end up at a shrink :)
How do you squeeze a whole year into a couple of minutes? Is this even possible at all? How do you decide to put these shots in and leave those moments out? It took me more than 2 months with many decisions that were literally PAINful. And … here it is. Hope you’ll enjoy it. I’d be happy if it will whip a smile on your face :)
