Maira Eaton learned to make her own clothes, often out of necessity, when she was a teen-ager growing up in Cuba. Now a resident of Florida, she says she loves using feathers, beads, lace, satin and silk to make fashion accessories. She says she is thankful for the Internet and social networking, which she uses to learn, get feedback and sell everything from shoe clips and shrugs to wedding dresses.
