The Reef Beneath is an educational film about marine life on a remote island in the Indian Ocean. The film takes the viewer from the crabs of the mangrove swamps, to the octopus and fish of the coral reef environment.
The film was used as a tool to inform fishermen of the region about the inter-dependability of the tropical island environments and an introuduction to sustainable fisheries using protected marine reserves.
Filmed and produced by Jeremy Neech and Jonathan Smith
