DV, 24' 24'', 2001, Portugal
Originally conceived as a three part installation, Série Y is focused on the digital manipulation of human movement in a rural landscape – CENTA, Vila Velha de Rodão, Portugal. Collages, loops, reversible movements, speed changes, stop-motion techniques and image and sound processing were used to create an impossible, supra-natural coreography, full of “as never seen before musical moments”. Sound and Vision trans-disciplinary performance experiment where videodanse meets Méliès.
Original installation supported by Ministério da Cultura.
