With a limited budget, I created this one minute visual effects sequence to recreate the lanslide and blast events of the 1980 Mt. St. Helens eruption. The scope of work included 3d animation, compositing, color correction, and photographing elements with a DSLR. The under water shot (:50-:53) and the initial mtn. morph (:04-:11) are stock footage
