This was a very hectic day. My plan was to take pictures and video of the fireworks at the same time using a Nikon D80 on my right hand and the Aiptek A-HD+ on my left hand while at the same time I’m carrying my camera bag and tripod. No use putting it on the ground and risk loosing them.
Like it couldn’t possibly get any worse, they had a tent blocking a good part of the fireworks. If only it was taken off for today because I missed a lot of good shots.
For a lot of the beginning fireworks shots I was constantly messing with the D80’s settings and every time I do that I would mess up my video. It would have been hard keeping the camcorder steady. After a while, I finally decided that I should try taking good pictures. Like I said earlier, their had a tent in the way so no matter how much I tried, a lot of them got ruined. At least, I decided to walk to a better position which seamed better but still a lot hassle.
When the fireworks became over, I decided to keep the camcorder on and walk around while taking pictures of the people at the same time. I eventually told myself to stop thinking that I really need to pay attention to where I’m walking to because the place was very crowded. I put the camcorder away but I was still taking pictures. I couldn’t help my self.
When I finally got to the train station, you can see in the photos that it was jammed packed with people and I even took a video of it. Afterwards, I decided to take more pictures.
I put the camera away and decided to walk to another station because it would have took a lot of time getting in with all that people and the stuff would be banging into them. Luckily their were far less people. I have a monthly pass anyway but regardless, it was smart for them to allow the people to enter the trains and busses for free especially for that first train station that I skipped.

Hmm…it looks like things are taking a while to load. Try again?
