Mongolia is home to the last species of truly wild horses on the planet. The "Takhi" horse dates from the times of Genghis Khan, but has been hunted to the brink of extinction.
Conservationists have set up one of the most successful breeding programs of any endangered species. They are hoping that eventually large numbers of the "Takhi" will roam free as they did thousands of years ago.
Melissa Chan tracks down these elusive horses in Hustai, Mongolia.
