They are and were part in parcel of the foundation that kept the daily nitty-gritty of ranching moving forward. Women found themselves embedded in ranching by way of the womb, the tomb, or the altar.
Harney County is Oregon’s largest county in area and smallest in population at just under 7,000. Cattle ranchers, wild horses, meadow hay are the main inhabitants along side people where business is conducted on a handshake.
