High Country Video Productions is based in Asheville, North Carolina in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The thriving mountain community is known for its vibrant community of people, beautiful mountain vistas, and incredible outdoor adventure sports opportunities.

High Country Video Productions strives to capture the spirit and essence of mountain living through time-lapse photography and video productions that merge natural beauty with modern technology to provide video edits that reflect the beauty and the excitement of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We got our start shooting and editing video back in 2003 as a way to document some of the many incredible outdoor adventure sports that the mountains of the High Country of North Carolina had to offer.

Over the years, we've produced a wide-range of videos and short films that cover sports and activities that have put Boone on the map as one of the top outdoor adventure sports communities in the country. Our interests in documenting sports have made for some great adventures. Whether we've roped up to capture sports like rock climbing, paddled big whitewater to showcase the action of the area's great kayaking, or bombed it down a steep trail with a head cam to take our viewers into the fast-paced world of mountain biking, we've been there, camera in hand, to capture the excitement of the adventure.

In 2009 we launched the community-oriented adventure sports show, High Country Adventures on the Mountain Television Network. Since that time, we've had our videos featured on a variety of websites, including Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine, High Country Press, the Mountain Xpress, as well as a number of blogs and social networks.

Since we launched the High Country Adventures video series in the summer of 2009, those videos have been viewed more than 60,000 times.

In the past two years we've covered paragliding at Tater Hill, the Burn 24 hour mountain biking race, Six Hours of Warrior Creek bike race, the Hound Ears bouldering competition, the Blood, Sweat & Gears bike race, the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games, and the Dirty Bird Downhill Mountain biking series.
We hiked deep powder, climbed snow-covered mountains, and left fresh tracks in our wake as we covered the snow sports scene in the High Country during one of the snowiest winter seasons in recent history for our film, The Return of the White Winter. We've documented the weddings of five incredible couples as they begin their adventure through life, as husband and wife. And through it all, we've gotten better and better at what we do.
