The Hollenbeck Police Activities League (PAL) was founded by the Hollenbeck Division of the Los Angeles Police Department and community residents in 1992.

For over 15 years PAL has been helping youths make positive changes in their lives by teaching them healthy life-style principals, providing them with positive role-models, instilling in them the concepts of teamwork, building in them the qualities of sportsmanship, providing them academic/career support and guidance, and helping them develop leadership skills.
