Holly Copeland
My enthusiasm for filmmaking began in grade school when my sister and I would make short horror films and spoofs of shows we saw on television. I took my filmmaking from the cramped “studio” in my parent’s attic to the UVM campus when I began taking film classes as an undergrad in 2009. I continued to study film throughout my senior year, when I made my short Cheek Teeth, which took Best Picture this past May at the UVM Film Festival. Starring my father and niece, and shot in my childhood home, Cheek Teeth is a glimpse into the world where my passion for film was sparked.
