Matteo-I don't think there is a patch yet for clean (no pulldown) 24p out of via HDMI. Assuming you could get clean output, some of the new Driftwood patches are so mildly compressed and I-frame only, I think you might be hard pressed to see any real benefit to using the Hyperdeck. Good work team Driftwood.

Micheal, you totally missed the wannabe Spike Lee student, you know there was one in you class.

I went to 3x film schools. They are not all created equal. By far the best (for my education and wallet) was the least prestigious, a junior college in Marin (CoM), and was nothing like this experience of this video.

The most prestigious, was somewhat like the video. It would not surprise me if this represents the NYU experience.

Perhaps this should become NYUs new orientation video?
