Hudson River HealthCare, Inc. is a federally-qualified network of 16 community health centers throughout the Hudson River Valley of New York State, as well as on the north fork of Long Island. Doors first opened on July 1st, 1975 when the dream of four courageous Peekskill mothers to have health services in their low-income community was realized. Since then, the Peekskill Area Ambulatory Health Center has changed its name to Hudson River HealthCare and the organization has grown in size and numbers of needy communities served, with 2 new centers recently opened in Yonkers, NY. HRHCare provides high-quality, affordable, comprehensive primary and preventive health care services to all who seek it, regardless of insurance or ability to pay. Community health centers are the solution to this nation's health care crisis, and HRHCare is proud to be leading the way.
