Hello, I am Hug Codinach. I am a freelance Art Director and Motion Graphics Designer from Barcelona currently based in Los Angeles. I have been working for about fourteen years in motion graphics, concept creation, compositing and 2D design and animation as well as 3D design and animation. Within the past three years I have been freelancing between the United States and Spain. I have recently worked at King & Country and Charlie Company in Los Angeles with clients such as Ford, NFL Network, ESPN and Nike.

I studied media and design in Barcelona and began my career working as a designer at several TV Channels in Barcelona. In 2004 I was awarded with a Silver LAUS for the project Sirocco. I then worked as an Art Director at El Terrat, creating graphics for the popular Spanish late night show Buenafuente for more than 4 years. After that I worked as a freelancer with companies such as Antomic, Monkey Films, Studio Copyright, TV3, Media Pro and Antena 3. In the US I have worked with companies in New York and Los Angeles, such as Makine Studios, Perception NY, PIC Agency, King and Country and Charlie Company.

My main tools are After Effects, Cinema 4D, Photoshop and Illustrator. Other software and plugins that I specialize in are Boujou, Mocha and Turbulence.
