adventure...sweet, soul-stirring adventure.

We live in an age when true adventure is nearly extinct, and what there is seems contrived. At times it is contrived but occasionally we embark on what turns out to be the most authentic, inspiring and memorable adventure of our lives. Hopefully we live to tell the tale.

With words and images we hope to tell a story of high adventure as it exists in our world and in our time. We invite you to share in our adventures and share your own with our community.

We embrace and encourage this life of adventure but we also believe in balance to give those adventures a better context and truer meaning.
100 years ago young French woman once summed it up very well.
She wrote:

"LEAD TWO LIVES, ONE THAT IS FULL OF ADVENTURE AND BELONGS TO THE DESERT, AND ONE, CALM AND RESTFUL, DEVOTED TO THOUGHT AND FAR FROM ALL THAT MIGHT INTERFERE WITH IT."
