Thanks Miguel. No I'm not using any plugins to remove noise. I just make sure that I light the scene correctly. It could be that your gain is turned up too high. You might want to check that. Other than that it might be a lighting issue. There is some noise with the 170 but I find it to be "pleasant" noise that is more filmic than digital but you should see very little of it if light is plenty.

16 days agoIan Lucero commented on in Panasonic HPX170Thanks Kamau. For the most part, all the rehearsal footage (a hpx170) was shot using Cine D (F6) default settings. All video editing, sound editing/sweetening, coloring and compressing was done in Final Cut Studio 3.
