Integrated Community Development International was founded in 2004 to alleviate poverty through development at the village level. ICDI is primarily a water project implementer – both new wells and well rehabilitations. Our preventative maintenance model is based on periodic visits by ICDI Central African staff to each well, replacing worn parts, and keeping track of the condition of the well and conditions in the village. These regular visits are the doorway through which ICDI strives to implement it's other community development programs, including agricultural, micro-enterprise, HIV/AIDS prevention, and sanitation & hygiene.
