The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem was founded in 1980 as an evangelical response for the need to comfort Zion according to the command of the scripture found in Isaiah 40:1-2;

"Comfort, comfort my people says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem..."

The US Branch exists to financially support the ministry of the ICEJ headquarters in Jerusalem, to provide educational tools and programs for the Christian community in America, and to be a channel and voice of Christian support for Israel and the Jewish people.
