IDKA är en mötesplats i Gävle för skapande människor som vill utforska den digitala teknikens konstnärliga möjligheter. Vi erbjuder utbildningar på olika nivåer inom digital ljud- bild- och filmredigering samt inom interaktiv experimentverksamhet med datorer. Utbildningarna spänner från korta introducerande workshops, till avancerade kurser i elektroakustisk komposition.

IDKA is a meeting place in Gävle for creative people who want to explore the artistic possibilities in digital technology. We offer courses at different levels in digital audio, video and film editing and in interactive experimentation with computers. The courses range from short introductory workshops to advanced courses in electroacoustic composition.

IDKA does concerts and performances at their own stage Kulturkiosken and exhibitions in their own art gallery.

Access to studios
On completion of basic training IDKA offer you free book studio time. In addition to courses arranged IDKA concerts of electronic music as well as lectures and seminars on art and technology. IDKA is a non-commercial institution with a view to
promote artistic development of digital music, photo and film.
