I was Born in Chicago, Ill. and moved to California in the 90's at the climax of an MTV revolution. Shortly after I arrived, LA was set on fire during the "Rodney King Riots" and me and my mom moved to Pasadena. There I was raised as a teen and attended John Muir High. Later on when I got serious about art, I applied to Art Center with O life drawings in my portfolio..just sketches. I was laughed out of the admission office and started taking life-drawing classes at Pasadena City College. In 2005 applied to Cal-Arts instead of Art Center because I had a passion for drawing and I wanted to animate. I applied randomly and late, but I was fortunate enough to get a congradulations letter in the mail. And here I am. BFA-4 "09"
