I'm a songwriter, and I'm having fun at the points where creativity and songwriting meet the limitations of specific websites. I wrote the Twitter song and a very short album of 12-second songs for 12seconds.tv.
I've put the band back together in 2009 to play all my new songs, and I'll be posting loads of fun footage here on Vimeo. You can find links to everything else from my website.
On May 1st 2009 I'm putting on Ben's Big Gig in Oxford, which will be streamed live to the internet. I'm trying to integrate as much social media and general communicative goodness into the gig, both as a fun experiment in entertainment and as a shining example of some of the possibilities the internet offers musicians.
