Ian Jasper Abellana, a 15 year old filipino, migrated to the United States 4 years ago from the Philippines. Ian has been a member of the ” Cebu Performing Ambassadors “, a group composed of selected students who are trained to play wood instruments, and perform filipino folk dances. Ian also had taken acting lessons doing monologues, etc. at John Robert Powers. Ian, has been a part of the AYC Art Panel helping out design the new Ashland Youth Center. Currently, Ian is studying at Bay Area Digital Arts at San Lorenzo High School, and he is also working with the Let’s CHAT crew in helping decrease teen pregnancy around his community.
