Robert W. Filion

Robert W. Filion, has worked in the motion picture production business since college graduation in 1994, and has freelanced with companies such as Microsoft, Court TV, Fox 18 and Duke Energy in various capacities.

In early 1999, he transitioned from a predominantly corporate workload to motion pictures, and has since completed numerous feature projects. Features like "The Last Confederate" (2005) for Solar Filmworks as Co-producer, Editor, Unit Production Manager and 2nd Unit Director, "The Rest of Your Life" (2005) for Captain Obvious Productions as UPM, Sound Mixer/Boom Op, 2nd Unit Director, and Composite Artist, “Cold Storage” (2006) for Synthetic Fur as UPM and Transportation Captain, and “Jury of Our Peers” (2008) for Green Light Star Productions as Sound Mixer.

Robert formed Image Impact Group in 1998, and has been committed to bringing in all manor productions from concept to completion with the highest caliber sound and visuals despite budgetary restraints. He has hands-on experience in all facets of filmmaking from screenwriting and development, to pre-production, production and post-production.

Additionally, Robert has written, produced, directed, photographed, edited, sound designed and created the visual effects (VFX) for countless short form narrative projects, to include the multiple award winning "See the Dead" (2008) and “Chekhov’s Children” (2009).

Looking to the future, Robert is working on his feature directorial début also to be produced in the Carolinas.
