Three of my videos are from my thesis THE CONTINUOUS LINE. They involved mouth, threads and hair, here are some of my thoughts:

Mouths are more important than words. When someone talks to you, we notice their visual symbols, and then apply the words they say to that context.

Hair = time. I see hair as a line that signifies time and quality of life. Just like rings on a tree, our hair contains physical evidence of hardship, every individual’s temporal existence is personal and tangible.

A red thread connects us all. Chinese legend states we are connected to our lovers by a red thread of fate; I feel we are all connected, and I like to imagine that connection as a network of red threads.

More recently I have been interested in light. These videos feel more documentary, I am documenting something I find beautiful.
