Independent Digital

By day I am a software support specialist and by night I am an independent video producer and student of music production and technology.

I have been editing and producing videos for 6 years under the name Independent Digital. My first work was shooting and editing live concert videos of local Texas artists including Daniel Johnston for the Houston Chronicle’s website with staff photographer/videographer Ben Desoto. I later found myself cutting several short films for Houston based indie zombie movie director Kevin DeVil.

After relocating to Austin, TX and starting work at Apple Inc on their Professional Application Support team, I became the video supervisor for the Texas Entertainment and Media Production Organization (TEMPO), producing custom motion graphics and video content as well as presenting live projections during local performances by Scion concert series artists DJ Premier, DJ Revolution, Haul and Mason and local Austin artist DJ Chicken George.

My most recent projects have been producing interviews of artists on the record DJ Chicken George Presents: The Swed.u.s.h Connection 2 featuring J.Boogie and NickNack on Swedish Brandy Records, and also videos of live performances including L.A. based abstract hip hop producer Take, DJ Chicken George opening for Grandmaster Flash and Biz Markie and also turntablist DJ Big Wiz.
