Children of Invention

This is the vimeo channel for Tze Chun's debut feature film CHILDREN OF INVENTION, about two young children living outside Boston who are left to fend for themselves when their mother gets embroiled in an illegal pyramid scheme and disappears.

The film premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, screened at over 50 festivals, won 17 awards, and was released theatrically, on DVD, and VOD in 2010. Manohla Dargis of The New York Times called it "a fine feature debut," the Film Society of Lincoln Center said the film is "as close to cinematic purity as one is likely to see this year," Hammer to Nail listed it as one of the top 13 films of the year, and Jeff Deutchman (IFC Films), Tom Hall (Sarasota/Newport Film Fests), and Alison Willmore (IFC.com) named it one of the best undistributed films of year.
