Christine Kroll

I'm Christine (16). My friend Maria (17) and me, we call ourselves "iscream" (so that's the name of our film production). We know each other from school since 2003. In 2005, we began making short films ("Mad Friends") and our film "Long Time No See" ("Lange Nicht Gesehen" in german) was nominated for the International Young Film Makers Award 2007, which took place in Hannover. Now, we're writing the script for our newest production. I won't tell you the name, because it's magic.

Most of the time, we listen to eventual film music before making films. I heard Quentin Tarantino is also fan of that. By the way, our name came into being with our first clip. After that, many other people called their things iscream, like this naff movie "Ice Cream, I Scream" or the very first german underage club. I mean, not because of us. Sure. But the name isn't that great, is it? Well, truth be told, it is. Anyway, stop it.
Furthermore, we don't steal anything (on purpose), take notice of that..

Also, we have a special way to use our cameras. We're only two persons and two digital photo cameras with video fuction, that's why it's a bit more difficult. So if both of us are acting in a scene, we place the cameras on tables, ropes (don't ask how that works), rocks an so on. While you just see Maria, I'm filming and the other way round.

Actually, we do all the stuff together, but Maria films more often and I'm usually the editor.

Please do not destroy your monitor, if our clips on vimeo aren't that good; most of them are very old now, but we learn fast and I think, we're much better now.

Making films is the best thing people can do. I mean, you can do everything! Sounds stupid, but we just love it.
