Hacked or not? The GH2 still looks good either way. I've found one benefit of the hack is that when the original is being man handled / down resed by some youtube encoder it still looks fantastic vs the lower bitrate. More info in the beginning will give

This no longer true for FCPx. You can throw in native AVCHD footage and start editing immediately. Didn't realize this but it's something worth noting. I'd also like to see a test of someone actually cutting something other than a quick and dirty edit
