Born and raised in London, and living part of his teenage years in Glastonbury, Jamie has spent the last 12 years working professionally in the fashion industry between London and NYC.
Jamie started off shooting fashion photography for Dazed & Confused Magazine aged 18. Under the guidance of Emma Reeves and Nicola Formichetti, he went on to win a place on the D&AD advertising workshops and an internship at M&C Saatchi's London and New York offices, before going on to assist Fashion Photographer David Sims full time, as part of his in-house team.
Over the last 12 years Jamie has been mixing his disciplines between photography, film and graphics in various professional environments, from making short films for festivals/exhibits at the ICA, Sundance and Stella Artois After Dark, to creating music videos for the likes of Jack Penate and CocoRosie. He also branched into t-shirt design for Aron Bandoroff's aNYthing, alongside Dash Snow and Ryan McGinley, in New York City.
Jamie started his professional career in advertising, for Fabien Baron's New York City agency Baron & Baron, which saw him working on adverts for CK Jeans, Diesel Fuel for Life and Viktor & Rolfs Flower Bomb, and led to him winning Best International Advertising Award at FiFi, the Fragrance Foundation's annual awards ceremony celebrating the creative achievements of the fragrance industry.
Shortly afterwards Jamie moved to LIPMAN NYC to rebrand Hudson Jeans, DVF and various other high profile and lucrative luxury brands, and found work art-directing international campaigns, alongside photographers such as Mario Sorrenti, Terry Richardson and Peter Lindbergh.
Since moving back to London in 2011, Jamie set up his own creative agency, which over the past few years has been responsible for the Belstaff rebrand, Diesel 'Dogs' Eyewear campaign, Alexander Mc.Queen video creative direction as well as the re brand of Rollacoaster Magazine. And branching out in to directing music videos for Liam Bailey and Shy-FX.
At present Jamie still operates his own creative agency, as well as working as Senior Art Director at GREY Advertising, London. And being nominated to judge the D&AD student Awards 2013.
