I am a video artist/activist working to raise awareness of and discourse on human rights, social justice, media and environmental issues. In 2001 I founded ArgusFest, which has since held over 1,000 public events including documentary film screenings, concerts, art exhibits, lectures and performance art.

    It's sad the facilitators we're not more supportive. The occupy movement really needs to hear this message. What would have been more effective though would have been to shorten your speech, cater it more to the procedure (make it "mic check" friendly) and offer a workshop that would go into more detail. Thanks for all you and AMI's work Stephen.
