    I've gotten a lot of questions on how to hotkey Advanced Smooth in CS4/CS5. Here's how:

    When you have a fill or line selected, a squiggle with an arrow will appear on the tools panel. This is where they put the Smooth command. Click that icon.
    Click Window -> Other Panels -> History
    Then, find where the smooth command you did is listed, right click on it, then click "Save as Command..."
    Title it whatever you want. "Smooth" works just fine.
    Now, it will appear under the "Commands" drop down menu at the top, and you can set it to a hotkey that way, just as you would if it were under the "Modify" drop down.
    Ta-da! You're done.
